CHAMBER CHOIR “CANTABILE” KAMYANSKE PROFESSIONAL MUSIC COLLEGE.
Chamber choir «Cantabile», the leader – Ievgeniia Dereviagina, choirmaster – Svitlana Ovcharenko, accompanist – Juliia Nibel.
The «Cantabile» сhamber сhoir was established in October, 2012 as an independent unit of the choral conducting department. From the first training years and educational activities the choir was noted for its active participation in different competitions and festivals of Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine and abroad.
The founder and ideological inspirer of this сhoir is the teacher of the choral department, conductor Ievgheniia Dereviagina .
During its existence, the «Cantabile» chamber choir has become a laureate of many All-Ukrainian and International competitions:
- 2013 The Third Prize International contest by Jurii Falik (International Festival «Singing world») St. Petersburg, nomination Church music.
- 2014 The Third Prize Winner «From Christmas to Christmas», Dnipro (Ukraine);
- 2015 The Second Prize Winner in International contest- festival «VICTORIA», Kyiv (Ukraine);
- 2016 The First Prize Winner in International Festival of church music «Kolozhsky Blahovest», Grodno (Belarus);
- 2017 The First Prize Winner in XXXVI International Festival «Hajnovskiy days of church music», Hajnuwka (Poland);
- 2018 The First Prize Winner in International Festival of the Youth Choirs by Havriil Muzychescu, Iasi (Romania);
- 2019 The Third Prize Winner in International contest- festival Named after G. Dimitrov, Varna (Bulgaria).
- 2020 the Grand Prix of the ІІ International Internet Art Competition «Diamants de talent» Odesa, (Ukraine).
- 2021 the First and Second Prizes III International contest for Young Singers of Christmas songs, Daugavpils (Latvia).
The choir is actively creative: holds charity concerts, collaborates with St. Nicholas Cathedral and St. Nicholas сatholic church (Kamyanske).
The team was awarded:
• The Honor «In Blessing for the hard work for the glory of the Holy Church» from the Archbishop of Kamensky and Tsarichansky Vladimir;
• The Honor Certificate the Ministry of Culture Ukraine for the weighty contribution into the music education development and high professionalism.
One of the creative achievements of the chamber choir «Cantabile» was the educational edition (the choral works collection of sacred music «Prayers of Wings» 2020). It includes the works from different eras – from the past to the present, which have become the basis of the repertoire and creative credo of the team.
